A Charitable Bunch!
It's been a busy few weeks for the Global Services team who have been out and about doing their bit for charity. Fi, Leigh, Paul and Sarah from the sales team along with Managing Director Neil donned their best pirate outfits and took to the high seas in this year's ISS sailing regatta. Held every year on the Solent, teams from across the superyacht industry compete in a series of races to raise money for Sail for Cancer. Light winds and sunshine proved perfect conditions for our fledgling sailors with Fi’s team ‘Icon Connect’ winning both the ladies helm trophy and the overall event!
A little closer to home, the Global Services team took to the streets of Exeter in The 14th annual Michelmores charity race which attracted 920 entrants. Some walked, some ran but everyone crossed the finish line raising several hundred pounds for local charities. There were certainly a few sore legs in the office the next day!
Meanwhile, Global Services owner Richard Gardiner, has been off on an adventure of his own crossing the Pyrenees on his Triumph touring bike. Some steep mountain roads and rainy nights in tents made it an interesting journey which saw the intrepid bikers travel over 2000 miles across France.
